The Wimax Forum Advisory Board Nominates Dr. Ahmed Sindi For The Position Of Advisory Board Member

Dr. Ahmed Abbas Sindi, CEO of Eithad Atheeb Telecom Co. “GO”, has been granted the position of an Advisory Board member based on the nomination of the WiMAX Forum Advisory Board committee in the United States, making him the first Arab to join the WiMAX Forum Advisory Board since its launch in 2008, the WiMAX Forum brings together a selection of telecommunications providers and information specialists from 125 countries and all continents and the foremost experts and engineers interested in WiMAX technology and communications to participate in annual global conferences.
Mrs. Helen Bonsford, Conference Director of the Advisory Board of the WiMAX Forum, stated: In recognition of GO Ethiad Atheeb’s importance and early success in the WiMAX ecosystem, I am honored to confirm that Dr Ahmed Sindi has agreed to join the WiMAX Forum Congress Events Series Advisory Board for 2009/10. The Board will give strategic level input during the development of the events, ensuring all WiMAX Forum Congress Events continue to offer maximum value and relevance to all. Since its launch in 2008, the official WiMAX Forum Global Events Series has been proud to welcome and host over 9000 WiMAX professionals, 280 sponsors and exhibitors in 125 countries in every continent our experience has shown that our carrier-led agendas are reflected by a carrier-led audience with strong representation from tier 1, 2 and 3 service providers.
