Published Nov 19, 2009
At its annual customer conference VISIT09 in Munich, Germany, Fujitsu announced the availability of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), underlining its focus on delivering comprehensive solutions to world-class customers on a global scale. Responding to market needs for cost reduction and flexibility in times of economic insecurity, as well as reflecting the megatrends of virtualization and cloud computing, Fujitsu completes its transformation into a global IT solutions provider with the three-layer Global IT portfolio made up of Dynamic Infrastructures, Application Services and Business Services.

Kai Flore, President & CEO at Fujitsu Technology Solutions, says: “Fujitsu now boasts a global IT portfolio that is in tune with current trends and economic climates, and truly focused on local markets. Furthermore, our attention to meeting individual customer needs differentiates Fujitsu from competitors as we take our place as a top four global IT services and computing systems provider.

“We introduced Dynamic Infrastructures a year ago as the cornerstone of Fujitsu’s global IT portfolio. Today, by putting the finishing touches to our customer-centric Dynamic Infrastructures portfolio, and in deepening our long-standing partnership with NetApp, we step up to the next level,” adds Flore.
