Dubai Egovernment Commemorates 38th UAE National Day At Ruler's Court

Dubai eGovernment commemorated the UAE's 38th National Day at its headquarters in the Ruler's Court with the participation of all employees and managers. The celebrations kicked off with the singing of the UAE national anthem and other popular songs while there was also a cultural competition that revolved around the country's history, National Day celebrations, and the history of important cities and areas. Winners received special prizes and gifts that symbolised the UAE national identity.
Commenting on the occasion, Ahmed Bin Humaidan, Director-General, Dubai eGovernment Department, said: "With the UAE being a leading international and regional hub for business, investment, tourism and education, our celebration of the 38th UAE National Day is an opportunity for us to reflect on our great achievements, which have been accomplished in a relatively short span of time and in accordance with the guidelines and wise vision of our founders and rulers. We will continue to seek guidance from such wisdom as we seek to achieve more progress and excellence at all levels. The UAE National Day is also an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment towards achieving more accomplishments through adopting international standards and best practices in the fields of IT and telecommunications, which is part of our strategy to enhance the performance of eServices that have been adopted to automate government transactions and improve public services."
