SMART Extends CSR Commitment In UAE

Published Nov 30, 2009

SMART Technologies recently provided free level 1 training on select SMART products to around 35 teachers from Indemaj, the UAE-based non-governmental organisation that runs 10 schools across the country. The move complements SMART Technologies’ long term association with Indemaj and follows the donation of 35 interactive smart boards to the education charity last year.

During the day-long interactive training program – titled ‘Teach @ the speed of light - the participating teachers were given a demonstration of various SMART products, including Smart Board, Sympodium, Senteo, Airliner and Notebook 10. Over the past several months, SMART Technologies has been continuously engaging with Indemaj to highlight the importance of technology in education.
