Avaya Appoints Hossam Amer As New Territory Manager For Egypt, Libya And North Africa

Avaya has appointed Hossam Amer as the new territory manger for Egypt, Libya, and North Africa. Avaya internally realigned its North Africa territory in October to combine Egypt and Libya into a sub region to increase focus on key growth opportunities.
Amer joins Avaya’s Emerging Markets team and takes the helm of the new sales region, where he will be responsible for growing Avaya’s Enterprise Communications business as well as increasing Avaya’s in-country presence in Egypt, Libya, and North Africa. The appointment of Amer will help Avaya stay closer to its customers and partners and will allow the company develop on new opportunities.

My primary focus is on providing our customers and partners with superlative support, while continuing to build awareness for Avaya’s market-leading solutions, and capitalize on the current growth rate, to increase our market share and to set the stage for continuous growth,” said Amer.
Avaya’s business in North Africa has experienced double digit growth in the last few years. Avaya continues to grow in the region, has gained a number of prestigious customers, and has taken on new partners to serve growing customer demand.
Prior to joining Avaya, Amer was Business Manager for Middle East & North Africa at Teleopti, a Sweden based software provider in the area of telecoms optimization and workforce management solutions. Amer succeeded in maintaining a strong market share for the company; and was awarded “best sales person” in 2008 for his continuous over achievement.
Amer has a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and Industrial computers with a Strategic Management and business Intelligence focused MBA.
