Windows 7 Gains Market Share

According to Internet metrics vendor Net Applications, Microsoft's Windows 7 has passed the 5% market share milestone last weekend, which put it above the total market share of all versions of Apple's Mac OS X. The first week after its launch, the new operating system had accounted for 2.7% of all operating systems used worldwide; it climbed to 3.3% in the second week, to 3.7% in the third and to 4% during the fourth week post-debut.
