Canon Middle East Broadens Business Support And Consultancy With Its Essential Business Builder Program

Published Dec 14, 2009

Canon Middle East, world leader in imaging and business solutions has announced the success of its much anticipated Essential Business Builder Program (EBBP), providing practical ways to increase revenue, improve productivity and inspire innovative ideas through interactive workshops and one-to-one consultancy. Canon’s key Dubai-based partners and customers recently benefited from the EBBP program at its official launch.

Ayman Aly, Product Manager, Canon Middle East says, “Given the current economic climate, businesses need to look for ways of adding value that will help them stand out from the crowd and give a competitive edge. Canon has devised the Essential Business Builder Program to help the print industry explore new revenue and growth avenues and support overall business development. This is a testament to Canon’s commitment to helping customers drive business performance and remain on the path to profit.”

“As a company we invest an enormous amount of time and money in developing our customers’ businesses. We manufacture and sell cutting edge technology and it is essential we help our customers utilise this technology to maximum effect. Canon’s EBBP has been instrumental in achieving this goal for our customers in this region,” added Aly.

Canon’s Essential Business Builder Program acts as a support and consultancy package for its customers in the shape of information guides, and one-day group workshops. The workshops are run by independent consultants who tailor the modules to fit with their country requirements. For more advanced, bespoke support, Canon can arrange for the consultants to work closely with their customers on specific problems.

“The Canon commissioned study, ‘The Insight Report - Digital Printing Directions’, found that 87% of print companies look to their suppliers for direction or support in business development, and it is Canon’s ongoing aim to add real value in this area. With so little time and money available to print companies in the present economic environment, Canon works closely with customers, providing the consultancy and tools for printers to remain profitable,” concluded Ayman Aly.
