The new phones' outstanding voice quality is especially striking in handsfree operation. The volume can now also be adjusted during calls using a new rocker key on the side of the housing. An especially practical feature for professional users: The large address book with space for up to 500 entries and the mini-USB interface for quick and easy data synchronization.
Anyone who makes a lot of calls at or outside work appreciates a versatile and reliable phone. That is why the engineers who developed the new Siemens Gigaset S790 and S795 attached particular importance to high quality and precision. With their harmonious clear lines and high-quality illuminated metal keypad, the new Gigaset phones blend perfectly into any ambience. The optimized, clearly structured menu is controlled by a 5-way navigation key.
A large illuminated TFT display with 65,000 colors presents all the contents crisply - even in poor light conditions. The display shows the names of callers stored in the address book in large font. If desired, a photo of the caller can also be integrated with the aid of the picture CLIP function.
Professional handsfree operation
The Gigaset S790 and S795 impress with outstanding voice quality when the handset is used or in handsfree mode. Thanks to a sealed, optimized housing and high-volume separate loudspeaker, the resonator produces a natural voice quality and crystal-clear sound. Calls are possible in very good volume without distortions, noise or echoes. A practical feature: The volume can be adjusted to the desired level conveniently at the touch of a finger thanks to a separate key at the side of the handset. Anyone who likes making calls with their hands free can connect a headset via a standardized port (2.5 mm jack).
Businesslike
Ideal for use at work or in the home office: The large address book of the Gigaset S790/S795 has space for up to 500 entries and stores up to three different phone numbers for each contact. All address data can be synchronized with Microsoft Outlook on the computer and pictures and melodies loaded via the integrated mini-USB interface and free Gigaset QuickSync software. Photos can be used as a picture CLIP screensaver or slideshow. A built-in calendar and alarm function also reminds users of important dates and appointments. The Gigaset S795 has an integrated answering machine that records up to 45 minutes of messages and also important calls live if required.
Peace and quiet at night, low-radiation operation
The time-controlled night mode ensures peace and quiet during the night. It automatically switches off the ringtone in a defined period of time. The selective call blocking feature means that users are not disturbed by anonymous calls; those from suppressed or unknown numbers are no longer signaled acoustically, but are merely shown on the handset's display. The environmental qualities of the Gigaset S790/S795 are also state-of-the-art. An energy-saving power supply keeps electricity costs low. During calls, the integrated ECO Mode reduces transmitting power by up to 80%. The device even emits no radiation whatsoever in standby mode if ECO Mode Plus is enabled.
The base station of the Gigaset S790/S795 can be extended to up to six handsets.
