Middle East Expected To Require AED 44 Billion In New Power Projects Per Year Until 2020

Tripp Lite launches 'PowerVerter APS X Series Inverter/Charger' to offer reliable backup power support for regional industries
The Middle East is expected to require AED 44 billion in new power projects per year until 2020, according to recently published reports, in order to address the average six per cent growth in regional demand for electricity within the next 11 years.
With aims to support the power needs of the most important industries in the region, Tripp Lite, a world leading manufacturer of power protection and connectivity equipment, has announced the launch of the 'PowerVerter APS X Series Inverter/Charger', which offers a cost-effective solution for commercial, industrial, healthcare, remote site operations.
The new product (model # APSX3024SW) is a versatile inverter/charger system with auto-transfer switching that can serve as a power backup for GSM Cell Sites towers as well as dependable automotive inverter for RVs, over-the-road trucking, conversion vans and emergency vehicles.
It is also ideal as a standalone alternative power source for off-grid, alternative energy or export applications and as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for items compatible with selectable half-cycle (10ms) or full-cycle (20ms) transfer times especially in utility sectors.
Company officials are confident that the newest addition to their product portfolio will be of valuable help to many companies requiring reliable backup power support.

The APSX3024SW operates by converting DC power from battery to 230V AC power with a pure sine wave, which can run a wide variety of equipment.
In addition to a strong capacity to supply power to remote sites, the product is also ideal for use in areas where power may be intermittent or unreliable, and protects connected equipment by correcting brownouts and over voltages through automatic voltage regulation.
It also provides unlimited backup runtime for critical applications with any number of user-supplied batteries, and can provide unlimited runtime with any number of connected batteries when used as an alternative power source or UPS.
