Zyxel Joins Extreme Networks Go Purple Partner Program To Jointly Promote Interoperable Carrier Ethernet Solutions

ZyXEL Communications, a leading broadband access solutions provider, today announced that it has joined Extreme Networks' Go Purple Partners Program.
Architectural flexibility and intelligent service delivery were tested for interoperability. The companies also evaluated fast failover over resilient rings, the implementation of Quality of Service (QoS), and network security. The jointly tested solutions help service providers to build a scalable and reliable service-driven Carrier Ethernet network.

Service provider wilhelm.tel of Germany leverages the companies broadband IP solutions for its Triple Play network, the network relies on powerful switchingand cost effective Carrier Ethernet network.
