HP Helps Organizations Thrive In Unpredictability

HP Middle East has expanded its industry-leading portfolio of new products, solutions and services with HP Converged Infrastructure Architecture to help organizations in the region thrive in an unpredictable environment and meet changing business needs.

HP Converged Infrastructure Architecture provides a blueprint for chief information officers to create elasticity in their technology environments and support business innovation.

Embodying all of the attributes of the HP Converged Infrastructure Architecture, the HP BladeSystem Matrix has allowed Dubai Airport, UAE, one of world’s fastest growing airports, to turn technology from a cost center to a profit generator.

A recent global research conducted on behalf of HP shows that more than 90 percent of senior business decision makers believe business cycles will continue to be unpredictable in the next few years. As a result, 80 percent recognize a need to be far more flexible in their approaches to business and technology.

Flexibility, 84% percent of senior business leaders believe innovation will be critical to their organization’s success and 71 percent would sanction more technology investments if they could see how those investments met their organization’s time-to-market and business opportunity needs.

Today, only 34 percent of typical IT budgets are dedicated to business innovation. This is because the proliferation of IT sprawl has created technology silos in data centers that consume up to 66 percent of the technology budget for maintenance and operations.

Solving the issue of IT sprawl is expected to create a $35 billion market opportunity for converged infrastructure solutions by 2012.
