Sage Software Signs Eastern Solutions As A New 'Sage Accpac Erp' And 'Sagecrm' Distributor In Kuwait

Published Jan 12, 2010

Sage Software, the leading global supplier of ERP, CRM, and HRM solutions to medium and large organisations, announced that it has signed Kuwait-based Eastern Solutions as a new distributor for its 'Sage Accpac ERP' and 'Sage CRM' solutions in the country, amidst the latest BMI projection of a significant jump in the local IT spending to hit $1.3bn by 2013.

The agreement will leverage Eastern Solutions' functional and technical teams, which boast of an excellent track record in effectively distributing and promoting Sage solutions in Kuwait. The move is also part of the company's aims to record a 20% growth in the sales of its ERP solution, and a 30% rise for its CRM offering in the region by 2012.

The 'Sage Accpac Enterprise Resource Planning' (ERP) system is a sophisticated, robust accounting and operations system for small and mid-sized businesses, with its latest version providing significant usability enhancements throughout the system, including a new Account Rollup feature, new multicurrency revaluation options, and streamlined processes for managing job tracking.

It also includes 'SageCRM', an easy-to-use, quick-to-deploy Customer Relationship Management solution comprising sales, marketing and customer service automation. The Suite combines the benefits of ERP and CRM to support integrated front and back office business processes and workflow.

"'Sage Accpac ERP' accommodates the unique requirements SMBs have today, and readily adapts to meet their changing needs amidst the growing demand for products," said Vikram Suri, Managing Director, Sage Software. "By combining the unique blend of powerful analysis tools, including ERP, CRM, fixed asset management and business intelligence functionality, we provide employees in sales, service, finance, operations and management with an integrated full view of business operations, thereby enabling them to optimise their organisation's resources from customer-facing systems to back-office processes.

We believe that our partnership with Eastern Solutions will help us spread the word with regard to the industry-leading features of our ERP and CRM applications across Kuwait, which will help us hit our sales goals within this emerging IT market."

Eastern Solutions is a leading global developer and marketer of the internet and communication industry, and provider of IT/telecommunications integration services.

With a focus on delivering turnkey solutions by integrating business requirements with technology solutions, its operations mainly involve deploying custom solutions to government and private sectors to cover most of their operational needs. Founded in 2002, the company has established many successful partnerships and alliances with many reputable IT companies in the region.

"Today, the ability of an organisation to make the right decision at the shortest possible time is critical to business continuity and success. By providing insight into what is happening within the business, enhancing collaboration between departments and facilitating improved customer relationships, Sage solutions hold much potential amidst the ever-growing competitiveness within the Kuwaiti market.

With the inclusion of these pioneering business solutions to our product portfolio, we can easily differentiate Eastern Solutions from any other solutions provider in Kuwait, while giving an even stronger boost to Sage's presence in the country," concluded Aladdin Obaid, Sales and Marketing Manager, Eastern Solutions.
