Nearly 70% Attend Conference Calls In Pyjamas

Published Jan 14, 2010

BT Conferencing survey finds that most attend conference calls while in bed.

Ever attended a conference call in your sleepwear? You're not alone. A new survey by BT Conferencing found that nearly 70% have dialled in to a conference call wearing pyjamas, almost half wearing just underwear while 20% didn't bother with any clothes at all.

The survey found that the most popular place to call in to a conference was from their bed, explaining why most of the respondents said they were wearing pyjamas. The toilet was found to be the second most popular location.

While concentrating on a conference call might be enough to deal with for most, some insisted on multitasking with cooking topping the list. Changing diapers, feeding babies and shopping were also popular, while few reported to have been getting waxed and having a massage at the time.

BT Conferencing handles 60 million audio conferences around the world, linking 145 million people. It's part of the BT Group, a leading provider of global communications solutions and services that has a presence in the MENA region for more than twenty years now.
