Against the backdrop of the current economic situation and the global warming alarm, utilizing communications infrastructure in a smart way can maintain economic development and dramatically reduce carbon emissions.
“The telecommunications industry has proven to be a vital answer to these challenges,” says Tarek Saadi, Account Unit Head of Northern Middle East region, Ericsson, Market Unit Middle East.
Even though, the NME market has earmarked exponential growth, Ericsson identifies further opportunities for implementing new technologies, especially in markets where commercial operation is already in place.
“The market needs the right technical platform for further aggressive growth in the telecom industry. We do believe that due to this trend of development, there will be many opportunities to introduce new services in this region. The sky is the limit,” says Saadi. The portfolio of these new services will enhance operator’s performance.
In illustrating this point, Saadi explains that Ericsson provides end-to-end services. “We are able to successfully introduce and implement value added services. Ericsson implements the needed technology platform for 3G/HSPA+ and reaches out to the end-user through its flexible solutions that allow operators the introduction of differentiating Services at the highest levels of quality,” he explains.
The standout of Ericsson’s Services portfolio are the custom-tailored offerings for the respective region and particular Operator.
“Two key strengths of the Ericsson are its capability to innovate and flexibility to customize its solutions,” said Saadi.
These capabilities have resulted in exciting services for the end-users that enable them to be more productive and to be entertained on the go.
