Canon Emirates Announces Participation In Sign And Graphics Imaging 2010

Published Jan 21, 2010

Canon Emirates, along with its resellers, Multisystem Technology and Graphic International Centre LLC (GIC) has announced its participation at the annual Sign and Graphics Imaging (SGI) 2010, the Middle East’s specialised event dedicated to signage, outdoor media, screen and digital printing industries.

Canon will showcase its flagship imagePROGRAF Large Format Printers during the three day event which commences 25th – 27th January 2010.

Showcasing its flagship imagePROGRAF range including models such as the iPF 710, iPF 820, iPF 9100 and iPF 9000S, the line up will offer digital print companies further reason to invest in digital technology to increase the breadth, attractiveness and profitability of their product offerings.

“We have an incredibly strong printer line-up in terms of technology, performance and range which reaffirms our leading position in the LFP industry.

As a leader and innovator in the digital professional print segment, it is natural for Canon to have a presence at the region’s dedicated sign and graphics event.

Through our participation at SGI, Canon will showcase its flagship LFP range, which enable our professional print customers to distinguish their offering in the competitive Middle East print market and add significant extra value to their business," said Ajay Kumar, Marketing Manager, Canon Emirates.

“The digital print market is evolving rapidly in terms of high quality on-demand large format print at lower production volumes.

Despite the effects of the financial downturn, indications are that this market has substantial scope for sustained growth.

Sign and Graphics is the best opportunity for us to cater to this growing market, offering digital print customers scalable but resilient solutions that can grow in tandem with their demands.

Our participation at SGI serves as a further indication of Canon’s efforts in delivering innovative products that meet our customers’ needs,” said Mr. Vishal Gohel, LFP Product Manager, Canon Middle East.

Canon Emirates will be exhibiting its iPF range at the GIC stand (I1) situated in the East Hall, and the Multisystem Technology stand (X3) situated in the Main Hall, at Dubai Airport Expo.
