Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager, Epson Middle East, said, "Epson has participated in all previous editions of the Sign and Graphics Imaging exhibition and we have always been successful in connecting with our target audiences through our meticulously prepared product showcase.
We invest a great amount of time in research and preparation to be able to deliver a truly distinct, informative and entertaining exhibition.
This is our way to express our strong commitment to deliver superior products and services to our customers in the Middle East."
"We again expect a highly fruitful participation at the event as we have lined up a diverse product showcase targeting different segments.
For the proofing market, we will be featuring the SP7900 and SP9900, and for the packaging sector we have the new white Ink Printer with the all-new SP WT7900.
For the engineering, scientific, display and signage markets, we are offering the SP9700 and SP7700, which are our new five-colour machines," added El-Dalu.
Other breakthrough features and technologies that will be showcased at the event include the Epson UltraChrome® K3 with Vivid Magenta ink technology, Epson UltraChrome® HDR ink technology, Advanced MicroPiezo AMC™ print head, Advanced Epson MicroPiezo TFP print head, Epson High-performance Dual-array MicroPiezo® AMC™ print head, Epson AccuPhoto™ HD screening technology, and the all-new AccuPhoto™ HD2 technology.
Epson has also lined up for the exhibition its new large format printers, which provide one of the most cost-effective, fast and flexible printing solutions for design professionals in the Point of Sale (POS), Computer Aided Design (CAD), Geographic Information System (GIS) and corporate markets.
Epson's presentation will also include its advanced range of Stylus Pro series, which have been developed to produce high-quality final prints intended for the fine art, photography and proofing markets via the UtraChrome ink technology, Epson's latest generation of pigment ink that incorporates eight new colour pigments.
UltraChrome features a new three-level black technology, which has enhanced the quality of professional colour and black and white prints.
The UltraChrome line includes UtraChrome Hi-Gloss2, UltraChrome K3, and UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta.
Powered by the UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta, the 64-inch Stylus Pro 11880 is the first Epson printer to integrate the new Micropiezo thin film piezo print head with 360 nozzles per inch for each of nine active ink cartridges.
The Stylus Pro 11880 can print barcode and text on partially used paper rolls to record the quantity of paper left and identify media type, which allows users to switch between paper types and rolls for varying jobs.
Designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, the Stylus Pro GS6000 is a 64-inch large format printer with an 8-colour ink set that allows production of high-impact, high-quality and durable prints.
The powerful features of the Stylus Pro GS6000 enables printers, copy-shops and sign shops to extend their business into much more complex applications that demand higher quality such as airport and exhibition graphics, as well as art-reproduction.
The Epson Stylus Pro GS6000 is also an ideal, flexible production solution for multiple commercial applications as it allows operators to switch easily between a range of different coated and non-coated substrates such as vinyl.
The 24-inch Stylus Pro 7900 and 44-inch Stylus Pro 9900 have established new benchmarks in the professional large format printer market with improved ink formulation, a new printer mechanism and a raft of new technologies, offering the perfect solution for production and contract proofing, as well as the highest quality fine-art and photographic applications.
The Stylus Pro 7900 and Stylus Pro 9900 also enable printers to extend their business into the demanding packaging proofing and flexographic markets.
The Stylus Pro 7900 has also been equipped with an optional calibration and verification system, the Epson SpectroProofer, for remote proofing.
The new printer mechanism implemented in the Stylus Pro 7900 and 9900 builds on Epson's MicroPiezo TFP (Thin Film Piezo) print head.
