Published Jan 28, 2010

Canon Emirates has announced their support of Dubai International Print Awards, the nation’s premier event recognising the best print companies throughout the region. Held for the fourth consecutive year, the awards will see the convergence of the industry’s leading players.

“As a leader and innovator in the digital professional print segment, it is only fitting that Canon Emirates supports the coveted regional awards dedicated to rewarding excellence in printing standards. With prominent print specialists across the Middle East, Egypt and India participating, the awards represent the perfect platform for Canon Emirates to be associated with as Silver Sponsors.

We look forward to meeting leading members of the digital print community and exploring innovative ways in which we can work together for the benefit of this rapidly evolving industry,” said Ajay Kumar, Marketing Manager, Canon Emirates.

The awards will recognise contributions made to the print industry in 2009 with sixteen categories for offset printing and seven categories for the digital segment.

“The Dubai International Print Awards exemplify recognising printing excellence at the highest standards.

They recognise how far players in the print segment have adopted best practices in terms of quality, as well as innovation to meet the unique challenges and opportunities in the region.

Our strategic alliance with this event reaffirms Canon’s commitment to providing the highest standards of support in the industry,” commented Nicholas van Santen, CBS Marketing Manager, Canon Middle East

The Dubai International Print Awards 2009 will be held on 27th January at the Grand Hayat Hotel.

The judging panel consists of eminent print personalities such as Dr. Joachim Englisch, Nicholas Jung, Daniel Siegel, Karl Kowalczyk and Hemant Ranadive.
