Media Advisory: Juniper Networks Highlights Open And Secure Mobile Networking At The GSMA Mobile World Congress 2010

Juniper Networks® announced its participation at GSMA Mobile World Congress 2010, the world's leading mobile telecommunications event. Juniper will announce new software and mobility solutions aimed at transforming user experiences and changing the economics for mobile operators. The “new network” for mobility is designed to address rapidly changing customer behaviors and expectations, while dramatically improving total costs and revenue returns for service providers.

- Mobile Security Demonstration:

At Pavilion 70, Juniper will demonstrate new mobile security software that closes a significant security gap for enterprises and improves productivity for mobile employees by providing secure connections for a variety of mobile devices such as smartphones, notebooks and netbooks. This industry-first mobile security software enables new service models for mobile operators and improves productivity for mobile employees while enabling connections to a broad range of corporate applications.

- Juniper Presentation at the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2010:

Dr. Mallik Tatipamula, vice president and head of Mobile & Convergence Segment will provide insight into the “Technology Evolution – True Mobile Broadband Ahead”, latest developments regarding deployment and operations focusing on Core network transition and service enablers at 2.00 pm CET on Thursday, February 18, Hall 5, Auditorium 2.

- Mobile Social Event:

Juniper CEO Kevin Johnson and other executives will host an invitation-only event for customers, partners and the media on Wednesday, February 17 at GSMA Mobile World Congress. The event starts at 5.00 p.m. Central European Time and will be streamed live for viewing on Juniper’s Network Ahead blog.
