Kingston Technology Continues To Empowers Channel Partners To Drive SSD Sales

Published Feb 15, 2010

Kingston Digital Europe Ltd, a subsidiary of Kingston Technology Corporation, the independent world leader in memory products, today announced that it is offering its channel partners across EMEA a range of incentives, promotions and training to drive SSD (Solid State Drive) sales. Kingston Technology has equipped its channel partners with its notebook, desktop and server SSDs ready to drive sales and reap rewards from this increasing market.

As part of the focus on the SSD market, Kingston Technology is offering its channel partners in the Middle East region dedicated training on the technology so that representatives can show customers how easy upgrading can be with the company’s SSD bundles. As well as dedicated training on-site, Kingston is also offering its partners installation videos and sales support materials on its channel partner program website.

Kingston Technology will also be offering its trusted and valued partners promotions on SSD sales, along with evaluation units for testing in order to showcase the technology and its benefits. The demonstrations will show why SSDs are a reliable, efficient and cost effective upgrade option for consumers and businesses looking to prolong the life of existing equipment but still get optimum performance. Kingston Technology will also be holding events to support its channel partners’ promotion of SSD technology.

“We are running a series of promotions, incentives, events and training courses to ensure that our channel partners have all the materials, collateral and support they need to drive sales in the SSD market. The key to success with SSDs is ensuring that end-users are educated on the benefits and realise how easy it is to upgrade using our SSDNow upgrade kits that are available through our partners. Once the myths surrounding SSDs are expelled, we expect to see increased uptake as consumers seek the performance and reliability benefits that come from SSD technology.” said Antoine Harb, Business Development Manager, Kingston Technology.

“We are looking forward to working with our channel partners to continue to make progress in the SSD market. From September to October this year, we have seen SSD revenues in EMEA increase by 141%. These great figures are thanks to the close relationships we have with our channel partners and also signify the strength of this market and increased uptake by consumers and businesses. We hope by working further with our channel and equipping them with more support and materials needed to increase awareness on the benefits of SSD upgrades, we can all gain further from this exciting technology,” concluded Harb.
