Ibra has become the latest place in the Sultanate of Oman to welcome a new interactive Nawras Store with a convenient location at the very heart of the town. His Excellency Mohamed bin Nasser Al Rasbi, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Defence, officially inaugurated the stunning new store, accompanied by Sheikh Saif bin Hashil Al-Maskery, Nawras Board Member, as well as senior Nawras figures including chief operating officer Khalid Al Mahmoud and chief strategy officer, Abdulla Al Rawahy. The opening was also attended by many sheikhs, ministry officials and senior corporate representatives
Friendly Nawras store professionals explained to His Excellency how Nawras uses world class systems with a consistent level of excellent quality to deliver pleasingly different service to customers. After touring the store and exploring the innovations that customers can benefit from, the dignitaries and guests enjoyed traditional Omani halwa and coffee.
Signing the visitors’ book, H.E. Mohamed Al Rasbi, said, “I am delighted to inaugurate this new and wonderful store here in Ibra. I wish all members of the Nawras family every success in their work.”
Al-Mahmoud thanked His Excellency for his kind words and said, “From the beginning, Nawras promised to change what people buy and where, as well as how they pay and get help. The new Nawras Store in Ibra clearly shows this is continuing to happen. We want to get closer to our customers in this area and we are delighted to bring more convenience through this pleasingly different store. We look forward to serving the people of Ibra and the surrounding areas with our great value and excellent quality.”
Bustling with activity, the Ibra Store welcomes customers by encouraging them to get involved and inviting them to explore the pleasingly different world of Nawras. Live demonstration phones give customers a firsthand experience of services in real time and they can make a Video Call, send a parking SMS, try a BlackBerry handset or test a Voice SMS. Store visitors can see for themselves how different services work while trying out the reliability and excellent quality that Nawras is known for.
Observing the way the Nawras employees approached customers, a professor from the Ibra Technical College commented on how noticeably impressive the service was. He praised the high standards of training and dedication being shown.
Nawras Broadband Internet is being demonstrated; routers, modems and laptops are set up as working examples for testing. Customers can browse the internet in-store to try the speed and quality provided while evaluating the most suitable connection and price plan to match their own usage style. In the customer focused environment where creativity, simplicity, education and entertainment combine, friendly professionals help customers with every aspect of their mobile experience.
Creative Action Design and Workz Middle East FZE are credited for the inspired design and implementation of the store which includes traditional Omani scenes photographed by Ahmed Al Busaidi and Salim Al Wardi. Dressing the walls, the photographs add a pleasingly different, dramatic contrast with the leading edge technology on display.
Recognising that customers are looking for a convenient location, Nawras chose this prime position in the centre of town where the ideal positioning gives easy access. The new Nawras Store is open daily from 9am until 10pm and on Fridays from 5pm until 9pm.
Ibra Store takes the total number of Nawras Stores nationwide to 22. Details of every Nawras Store, including opening hours and addresses, can be found anytime by visiting the Nawras website at www.nawras.om.
