Published Feb 24, 2010

Acer Computer participated for the first time at this year’s Gulf Educational Supplies and Solutions Exhibition (GESS), where the world’s second largest PC vendor displayed its 3D product portfolio for the region’s education industry.

Education institutions across the Gulf are increasingly looking at innovative products such as 3D projectors and 3D monitors to improve learning tools. Acer products are best fit for regional organizations and tech-savvy students, who respond to modern educational techniques, commented an Acer executive.

“The region’s education industry is one of the fastest growing sectors,” said Sanjeev Dua, Product Marketing Manager, Acer Computer (M.E) Ltd.

“Technology is increasingly taking precedence in education, and we believe that we have a product portfolio that can cater to the various demographics within the education sector,” he added.

Visitors to GESS will be able to see firsthand Acer’s latest offerings. Products like the H5360 3D projectors and GD245H 3D monitors will all be on display.

GESS will run from 23 to 25 February at Dubai’s Airport Expo, the Acer stand is located at G72.
