Colourful New Designs Unveiled For Powerful Xerox Entry-Level, Monochrome Laser Printer

Published Mar 11, 2010

The recently introduced entry-level monochrome laser printer from Xerox Corporation has a colourful future. Two new designs for the Xerox Phaser™ 3140 personal laser printer were unveiled recently that will stand out on retail shelves and accent the decor of homes and small and medium-businesses (SMB). The new designs – one in quartz white and orange, the other in silver and black – respond to demand from Xerox channel partners and end-users for aesthetic alternatives in product designs.

Introduced in 2009, the Xerox Phaser 3140 delivers all-purpose printing at an affordable price. It produces 18 A4 pages per minute (19 8.5x11-inch ppm) and offers high-quality output, reliable operations and a powerful feature set that brings new productivity and performance to entry-level printing. The new model has a best-in-class monthly duty cycle of 10,000 prints to handle daily printing chores in business settings. Yet it’s well suited for use as a personal printer, with low noise levels and a compact footprint (14.17 x 15.31 inches / 360 x 389 mm) to fit comfortably on a desktop. Other key features include an enclosed paper tray that holds 250 sheets, a special-purpose tray for special sizes and media, and crisp 600x600 dots-per-inch resolution —1200x600 with software enhancements.

Highlighted with these new colour schemes, the design of the Xerox Phaser 3140 otherwise remains the same as when originally introduced. The new models have an estimated retail price as low as $99

- Availability:
