Published Mar 18, 2010

Saudi Xerox Limited (SXL) was recognized as “Partner of the Year” for the 2nd year in row and the third time in the past 4 years, in the MEA Annual Winners’ Conference held in South Africa this year.

The award is presented annually to one out of 80 countries in Middle East & Africa Operations and marks another success for the Olayan Group, which is Xerox’s Joint Venture Partner in Saudi Xerox. The ‘Partner of the Year’ award regionally recognizes SXL for the company’s significant growth, balanced operational performance, strategic planning, people development and overall brand representation in the market to continually succeed and set standards of excellence in the industry .

With significant growth across Xerox's entire solutions portfolio, which includes Xerox Large digital printing solutions, outsourcing services and work flow management systems and the successful implementation of Lean Six Sigma as the way they work, SXL has become the company's largest growth engine in the Middle East.

“2009 has been a great year for Saudi Xerox, and I thank each one of the team for their tremendous contribution made to Xerox both locally and abroad” said Marcus Childs, Xerox Corporation’s VP Middle East and Africa.

“This has been a result of our excellent relationship with the Olayan group. Furthermore the most important factor in this success is the strong SXL management team, and their long experience, dedication, loyalty, and hard work,” added Childs.

More than 50 Xerox partners from across the MEA markets took part in the distributor conference in Bahrain, to review the past year's milestones & market trends as well as hear Xerox’s strategic focus areas and upcoming technology innovations for 2010.

In 2009, SXL continued to grow across all business lines and broke yet another record among other countries in the Middle East despite the global economic crisis.

Highlighting the strength of Xerox’s investment, despite challenging global conditions, Ehab Guindi, General Manager of Saudi Xerox said, “It has been an exciting and highly rewarding decade for Saudi Xerox in the Middle East. Today we enjoy a commanding market share in the Middle East's digital printing industry, outsourcing business solutions and we will continue to build on this strong momentum with new products and services launches and on-going activities with our customers and partners in the Saudi market”.

"The dedication and commitment of our network in the region has been a major contributor to our sustained success in the Middle East, and we look forward to their continued support in the future. It is a golden opportunity to thank our customers for their continued faith in Saudi Xerox, loyalty and support. I would also like to thank both partners for their support to our Saudi Operations. Furthermore it is an opportunity to extend a big thank you to all Saudi Xerox people for their hard work, dedications and loyalty, and who spare no effort for customer satisfaction, that made us today a benchmark market leader” added Guindi

Working through a team of industry professionals and experts dedicated to providing solutions to all regions in Saudi Arabia, SXL will always be looking ahead to developing its capabilities to deliver improved levels of service to customers in both metropolitan areas as well as those outside the main cities.
