Panasonic’s new range of Full HD 3D products will soon bring a new era of immersive visual entertainment to Middle East homes, by creating a 3D experience that easily rivals the best that can be seen in cinemas, say regional executives.
Panasonic will soon launch a complete line of fully-featured Full HD 3D VIERA Plasma HDTVs, 3D BD players & 3D Eyewears to give you the best picture playback. Having first demonstrated the technology during Dubai’s GITEX 2009, where thousands of Middle East consumers had the opportunity to experience Panasonic’s Full HD 3D.
“Smart consumers will wait for our new Full Time Full HD 3D Viera TVs; the technology is that different from anything they will have experienced before,” said Abby Thomas, Senior Manager, Consumer Electronics Department, Panasonic Marketing Middle East.
This picture quality in Panasonic televisions is only possible with Panasonic Neo PDP Plasma Technology. VIERA 3D plasma televisions will have the highest contrast ratio of 5 Million: 1 allowing consumers to benefit from extreme depth and the realitism of the picture. This technology totally eliminates image retention, with high speed picture processing where Plasma advantage is guaranteed.
A VIERA NeoPDP TV is the ideal way to enjoy recorded with your Panasonic HD camcorder or LUMIX digital camera. That is why VIERA features the VIERA Image Viewer function. Simply slot in the SD Card – your photos and even HD movies will appear on the television as lifelike as the moment you captured them. The VIERA Image Viewer supports JPEG, AVCHD, AVCHD lite and DivX format for your entertainment.
VIERA Link™ allows Panasonic owners to control their VIERA Link-compatible audio and video products with just one remote. With VIERA Image Viewer™, HD home movies and photos are easily displayed using an accessible SD Memory Card slot with its music slideshow functionality. And THX® Certified Display certification insures that every Panasonic Full HD 3D TV displays motion pictures and television content with exactly the quality and color palette that the director intended.
The new models also reduce power consumption by 36% and with Panasonic’s demonstrated “eco ideas” commitment to minimize the impact of its products on the environment, all new Full HD 3D plasma panels are designed with an effective screen half-life of 100,000 hours, or over 30 years of TV viewing, eight hours per day. To cut toxic waste when the television does reach the end of its life, all models are manufactured without using mercury or lead.
Panasonic has been selected by the editors at CNET (www.cnet.com) as both the winner of the prestigious "Best of Show" and "Best in Television" category at this year's "Best of CES" awards for its Full HD VIERA Plasma television.
The "Best of CES" Awards, which are produced and judged by CNET, recognize the hottest products at the 2010 CES in nine categories, plus a Best in Show and People's Voice award selected by the CNET online audience. CNET editors received and reviewed hundreds of entries.
