Etihad Atheeb Telecom Co. "GO”, supported and sponsored the The 27th Islamic University Books and Information Exhibition, currently held at the Islamic University, In Medina, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Majed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Governor of Medina, from April 4 to April 16, 2010.

The conference aims to shed lights on Saudi Arabia’s pioneering role in serving the Islamic nations in the world, and monitoring of advocacy and relief efforts, scientific, and cultural rights provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Islamic world.

This sponsorship comes in recognition & understanding of the company’s national and social responsibility to highlight the Kingdom’s efforts to support Islamic causes and in appreciation and acknowledgement of the primary rule of universities, educational institutions, and book exhibitions in spreading knowledge and its correlation to the importance of Telecommunications and Information technology, and the essential presence of fundamental technologies such as broadband internet.

Moreover, A live demonstration of GO’s various products was held at the company’s stand, visitors of the exhibition got to test and rate GO’s services first hand, such as the Home Broadband Internet service, Personal Broadband Internet service, Advanced voice and the company’s latest product “GO Talk”.

"GO" has fully covered Medina using the company’s WiMAX network, Customers in Medina can subscribe to any of GO’s services such as the Home Broadband Internet service, Personal Broadband Internet service, Advanced voice and “GO Talk” voice service in Medina at each of Rashid Mega Mall, Al Madina Al Dawli and Aliat Al Madina, and in Khames Masheet at Aseer Mall.
