First Nawras Store In Al-Dhahra Region Now Open At Ibri

Nawras launched its latest pleasingly different store at Ibri with an opening ceremony attended by HE Sheikh Hilal Said Hamdan Al Hajri, Wali of Ibri as well as senior managers of this customer friendly communications provider and VIP guest Sheikh Ahmed Bin Suwaidan Bin Mohammed Al Balushi, who performed the official ribbon cutting ceremony. Nawras CEO Ross Cormack, chief strategy officer, Abdulla Al-Rawahy and chief finance officer, Jorgen Latte led the celebrations as the 23rd Nawras store was declared open for business.

After thanking His Excellency and Sheikh Ahmed for officiating, Cormack announced, “We are thrilled to be opening our 23rd store here, right in the heart of Ibri. We are looking forward to serving the many customers we already have in this area and to welcoming many more new customers to the fastest growing family in Oman. Now it will be easier than ever to pay your bill, recharge your Nawras Mousbak and try our latest products and services, all from this convenient new location.”

Al Balushi said, “I would like to extend my congratulations to Nawras on the opening of its new store in Ibri as another achievement to expand its service all around Oman. I am confident that this store will provide all customers in Ibri with a convenient way to buy and pay which will make communication easier, more flexible and more rewarding. All the best to Nawras.”

Conveniently located opposite the Sultan Qaboos mosque in the centre of the town, Nawras Store at Ibri is open from 9.00am until 9.00pm Saturday to Thursday and on Friday from 5.00pm until 9.00pm. Customers may call 95022520 for any enquiries.

Hailing from the Al Dhahra region himself, Abdullah Al Shuaili is the manager of the new Nawras Store. He will be using his extensive experience from time previously spent at the company’s Seeb, Salalah and Sur locations to help customers with all their telecommunication needs. He will be sharing his knowledge with the friendly, professionals who compose the Ibri team and making full use of the inbuilt training room to keep everyone updated on all the exciting offers and pleasingly different new Nawras products and services. This will soon include details of the exciting launch of Nawras fixed services too.

Visitors to the store can see demonstrations of Nawras mobile Broadband Internet as well as test routers, modems and laptops which are set up as working examples to make it easy for people experience the pleasingly different way Nawras does things. Customers can test the speed and quality provided by Nawras and benefit with help from friendly professionals who make it easy to select the most suitable internet connection and price plan.

In the customer focused environment there is a combination of creativity, simplicity, education and entertainment. Handsets are on display for visitors to try out different services and interactive screens give information about the pleasingly different world of Nawras.

Nawras, a Qtel Group company, is the Sultanate’s award winning communications provider, responsible for introducing many firsts to Oman. When the first Nawras Store opened in 2005 it marked the start of a completely new retail telecom experience for Oman.
