Infor Continues Expansion Of EAM Channel Partners In The Middle East

Published Apr 12, 2010

Infor, the leading provider of business software for mid-market customers, announced it has extended its relationship with global consulting firm Advoco. The new relationship will include a channel partner distribution agreement for Infor EAM in the Middle East and builds on Advoco’s international success as a services partner for Infor, which has leveraged Advoco’s expertise for a number of major enterprise asset management projects in the region, including the iconic Palm Jumeriah project. Advoco will focus on the sale of Infor EAM software within upper mid-market projects throughout the Middle East.
Infor EAM helps asset-intensive organisations improve asset performance, improving productivity by reducing machine down-time and extending the useful lifecycle of assets, thus optimising capital investments.
“We help companies maximise the value of their business processes by optimizing the systems they use in order to drive bottom line results,” said Ken Jillson, CEO, Advoco. “One of the key reasons we chose to partner with Infor is its long term approach to product evolution. Service-Oriented Architecture under-pins this strategy and our own company ethos. We see this approach eliminating complexity for our customers and thereby driving value and bottom line results. We have seen the enormous benefits a best-of-breed solution like Infor EAM can bring to customers. We are looking forward to extending this success all over the Middle East.”

Since the launch of Infor’s Middle East channel recruitment campaign in December 2008, Infor has engaged five new partners in the region, bringing the total number of Middle East partners to 22. ”We value Advoco’s real world consulting experience and its existing successes with Infor EAM, so we are delighted to have extended our EAM partner network with them,” said Paul Hammond, regional vice president and general manager, Middle East, Infor. “Our strategy is to work alongside partners who understand the value Infor solutions can bring to their client base and also work with them to help build a pipeline of new prospects across the Middle East. Advoco will now enable us to open up even more opportunities in the upper mid-market space – because of their experience in this sector.”
Infor provides more than 70,000 customers a better, more collaborative relationship with their business software provider. Infor software is simple to buy, easy to deploy and convenient to manage. It is software created for evolution, not revolution.
