Regional Community Gateway Attracts More Smartphone Vendors

Regional Community Gateway(RCG), MOBiDIV’s unique offering for regional mobile consumers attracts more mobile handset vendors to offer RCG on their planned mobile phones to the MENA region.

The RCG is a set of regional applications that has been conceived on smartphones as religious rituals software that alerts consumers, builds communities and strengthens social networking and provides content for their daily rituals performance. Emerged from CIT MOBiDIV, as a new technology that revolutionized the market trends with a fully fledged regional solution that turns the smartphone into an interactive regional guide, based on regional consumers’ demands.

“The RCG meets the regional mobile consumers need and satisfies mobile handset vendors offering demand. It helps them integrate value-added applications-set on their handsets leveraging their users’ experience with both regional and religious applications integrated with their life styles” said Ashraf Zaki, CIT MOBiDIV - CEO.

“The Regional Community Gateway features the Muslims' Integrated life styles managing the daily Muslim activities, interests and integrating them with the smartphone applications. Interaction with the community is fully realized to Muslims wherever they are; through certified Islamic applications that connects the consumer with his community utilizing the features and data directly integrated with all the messaging features of the phone” added Manoj Kumar, CIT MOBiDIV – Sales Director, GCC Region.

Social networking; consumers will be able to participate and benefit from the regional social communities available on the various online social networks such as Facebook and twitter. Applications are enabled to directly interface with the social network platforms and capitalize on the available interface services on the phone.

“RCG targets cross platforms including Windows Mobile, Android, Symbian, Blackberry, and featured phones supporting Java applications. It has currently been released bundled on more than 12 new phone models by prominent handset vendors.” Added Kumar.
