SAP Appoints Gergi Abboud As Country Manager For Qatar

SAP announced the appointment of Gergi Abboud to lead the development of the company's business in Qatar. He assumes the role of country manager, Qatar, and joins the SAP Middle East & North Africa (MENA) extended management team, effective immediately.

Foremost amongst Gergi's responsibilities is to exploit the full potential of SAP's industry and solutions knowledge for the benefit of local organizations. He will combine the full force of SAP's local and global experts and the SAP ecosystem in order to deliver clarity, efficiency and scalability to customers in Qatar. Gergi will also oversee the company's operations in Qatar, helping to engender best practices and customer proximity while growing the local SAP team.

Gergi has an impressive background in the IT industry and prior to joining SAP spent four years with Cisco Systems in Doha as a regional sales manager in the Middle East. Before that he worked for Sun Microsystems in Dubai for six years. Gergi has extensive experience of working alongside regional organizations of all sizes, representing a wide variety of industries.
