Qtel Launches Supercharged Business ADSL

Published May 10, 2010

Qtel announced the launch of its enhanced “Business ADSL” service, which has been revamped to fully support the needs of small and medium businesses in Qatar.

The all-new comprehensive solution leverages Qtel’s highly advanced network infrastructure to offer one of the most effective Internet solutions for businesses available in the region.

Qtel has carefully researched the needs of small and medium-sized companies in Qatar to ensure that the new service fully supports their business communication requirements.

The new solution incorporates flexibility, connectivity, and security, as well as fully supporting the needs of local businesses.

All customers of Qtel’s Business ADSL service will now automatically receive business-class e-mail, with their own registered domain and e-mail mailboxes starting at 1GB of disk space for the 1Mbps speed service and going up to 10GB of disk space for the 8Mbps speed service. All e-mail accounts will be protected by an anti-spamming service to reduce the impact of unwanted commercial e-mail.

Companies will also benefit from enhanced web services, including one or two dedicated domains and up to 1GB of web space, depending on the speed of service chosen.

To ensure that Business ADSL customers stay connected anytime and anywhere, all new customers will receive a free subscription to Qtel’s Mobile Broadband service, including either 1GB or 5GB of usage, depending on the speed of service chosen, at no extra cost.

The Mobile Broadband service can be used in the office to ensure that the business stays connected if anything should happen to the ADSL connection. The wi-fi ADSL router can automatically switch to the Mobile Broadband connection if it detects that the ADSL connection is unavailable.

Should Qtel’s Business ADSL customers want to stay connected while out of the office, the Mobile Broadband connection can be used as a completely mobile high-speed Internet connection via the included USB modem.

The Business ADSL service now also comes with an enhanced 802.11b/g/n wi-fi router included in the price for all new customers. It also includes an advanced firewall to secure the business against malicious activity, advanced self-help and remote help to ensure that any problems can be resolved with a minimum of interruption to the business.

All these services are supported by Qtel Business Solutions’ world-class levels of customer service, including the 800 8000 customer service hotline.
