Saudi Arabia’s Premier Telco Show To Take Place Next Week In Bahrain

Published May 16, 2010

Just one week before Saudi Com 2010, the event has the support of 200 + telecoms operators and vendors from Saudi Arabia and across the Middle East region. The conference takes place at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Bahrain on Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th May.

The Saudi mobile market continues to be the second largest in the region, with 40 million subscriptions forecast by 2012. The size of the market, favourable demographics and low penetration rates in the broadband and data segment demonstrate this as a market with high potential for existing and future investors.

Competition is intensifying in the fixed arena and the Saudi telecoms market is opening up with significant potential for internet services to grow from the current low base.

“ SaudiCom is coming at the right time to shed more light on this promising market and give the opportunity to all the attendees to explore more ideas about KSA market, the different solutions/technologies deployed, and the business potential and models that can be used” Ali Amer, STC The 25+ top level speakers including 16 fixed and mobile operators, regulators and ISPs are committed to the event’s success and will share their expertise and forward-looking strategies for the growth of the Saudi telecoms market:
