ESET, a global provider of security solutions, announced the acquisition of COMDOM Software a Kosice-based software company acclaimed for antispam solutions. The latest acquisition underlines the company’s strategy of solidifying its position as a premier developer of security software.

By making this acquisition, ESET is increasing its capacity for developing advanced security solutions. Building on the team of skilled programmers and researchers, we envision introducing new activities, along with injecting new potential into the development of security software.“
COMDOM Software is ESET’s second acquisition since 2008 when it purchased a Czech-based company Setrnet, expanding its offering to information security services.

ESET has currently branch offices in Prague, Czech Republic; San Diego, U.S.A; Buenos Aires, Argentina. The recent acquisition reaffirms ESET’s commitment to R&D and comes 2 years after the greenfiled investment into ESET development center in Krakow, Poland.
