GEMS Students To Benefit From LG Technology

Students across the GEMS global network of schools will have access to the very latest technology following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between global leader and technology innovator, LG Electronics and GEMS Education’s parent company, Varkey Group Ltd.

LG electronics state of the art technology solutions will be incorporated across all schools, providing an advanced learning environment where IT tools are used across virtually all areas of the GEMS community.

LG Electronics which will also supply environmentally sustainable solutions which will take GEMS Education, the largest private K-12 education operator in the world, one step closer to fulfilling its vision of building and operating, ‘sustainable schools of the future.

Commenting on the agreement, Sunny Varkey, founder and chairman of GEMS, stated: “We firmly believe that the role of schools is to support students so that they are ready to thrive and compete in an increasingly competitive world, due to globalization. Providing a quality Education is the number one priority for GEMS Education and embracing smarter ways of learning will offer students a competitive edge when they graduate.
