Etisalat Educates Teachers On Use Of Mobile Solutions For Education

In an attempt to encourage adoption of mobility solutions in the education sector, Etisalat participated in a Faculty Summit organized by Zayed University on the topic, ‘Mobile Devices in Computing Education’. The aim of the Faculty Summit was to build awareness and provide knowledge about the benefits of integrating mobile devices into their CS/IT/Engineering courses.
During the summit, Etisalat highlighted the benefits a premier educational institute like Zayed University can garner, through effective use of mobility solutions like Wi-Fi, Mobile business data packages and mobile devices like Blackberry. The forum, attended by many prominent academicians and faculty, enlightened the delegates on the relatively untapped potential of mobile solutions to raise the standard of education, levels of interest and satisfaction among students, by providing an inspiring framework that utilizes technology as an applied science in everyday education.
Commenting on the untapped mobile technology potential for education sector, Abdulla Hashim, Senior Vice President, Business Solutions, said, “Today’s tech-savvy generation appreciates an empowering environment that fosters learning through application and not just in theory.
