Acer Touch Portal will assure a more intuitive touch experience. The lower part of the screen collects all the main applications that become easily accessible with a simple touch. To choose an application, just scroll along the horizontal dock. To start it just drag it into the portal screen and -snap! - you're done!
Multimedia contents are organized into:
Touch Music -Once the Music icon is selected, all the audio tracks will be easily visible on the screen and easy to use according to different categories, like: My Music Library, Recently Played and New Imported.
Touch Photo - Simply drag the Touch Photo icon to the portal screen to see all your photos. Also your friends photos on Facebook and Flickr. Scroll through the photos to select the one you wish to view, sort them by category or tap a photo to view its contents in a browser. Even posting them on your favourite social network is easy: just click the Share On button than drag and drop the file into the Facebook or Flickr icon to be immediately social!
Touch Video - From the portal screen it is possible to activate the Touch Video icon to watch videos and music clips. Touch video diplays the music and video on your computer and also the most viewed clips and movie trailers on YouTube. Flip and scroll through the thumbnails to select the one you wish to view. It’s also possible to see video by category and post them in a simple and easy way directly on YouTube.
Touch Browser - Select an icon and you are immediately online; then thanks to the multi-touch you will also be able to zoom in or zoom out for excellent viewing of the contents.
Thanks to the widgets, even personalisation is guaranteed.
To set up the widget mode, tap the setting icon and select the widgets you want to see. You can log-in to your Facebook, YouTube and Flickr accounts. Also add your location and set weather and clock. Drag the widgets around the screen to place them where you wish. Memos help you to remember important information, you can edit them by writing on the screen or using the keyboard. You can also control your music playback from the widget mode screen. The touch portal even collects all the information about social networks. Friends updates are indicated with a star, and simply tapping the icon opens your friends' Facebook or Flickers pages to view updates.
