The Injazat Institute To Discuss Career Development Strategies For UAE Nationals At Emiratisation Forum

The Injazat Institute (Ti2), a professional development initiative launched by Injazat Data Systems, will present Injazat’s unique career counseling and guidance strategies UAE Nationals during the Emiratisation Forum which is organized by Abu Dhabi University, taking place from at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi.

The UAE’s leading Emiratisation forum was launched last year to hasten the development of a National Framework for Emiratisation and included Injazat among its major supporters. This year’s edition will be held under the theme ‘Improving Retention by Harnessing Motivation’ and will feature two days of networking sessions and interactive workshops on issues ranging from Team Building and Retention Best Practices to Employee Assessment and Blended Learning.

Gary Hazel, Manager of Training at Ti2, will deliver a presentation titled ‘Counsel and Guide to Build Relationships and Engage’ on the second day. His talk will focus on collaborative career path development, the communication of professional development goals, and the exploration of options through dialogue and counseling.

“The success of the inaugural forum reflects a growing need to more thoroughly analyze the Nationalization process and come up with more effective strategies to make related initiatives both viable and sustainable. At Injazat we have been able to implement a highly effective Nationalization program which we believe can serve as a good model forother Emiratisation initiatives to build on. Our goal is to emerge as an industry benchmark for leveraging the skills of UAE Nationals to attain operational excellence, and the Emiratisation Forum is a vital platform for achieving this vision” said Gary Hazel, Manager of Training, The Injazat Institute (Ti2).

Ti2 orchestrated Injazat’s 2009 Nationalization Program, which aimed to develop the company as an employer of choice for UAE Nationals, expose Emirati staff to globally recognized certification programs, create Career Development Plans (CDPs), improve the satisfaction and contributions of UAE Nationals, and establish an industry benchmark for operational excellence by UAE Nationals. Injazat’s over 100 Nationals currently occupy key management, technical and professional positions.

The Institute has been actively participating in major events related to the enhancement of the UAE’s Emiratisation framework.

Injazat Data Systems’ comprehensive UAE National Career Development Strategy encompasses Career Development Plans; Competency and Job Skills Analysis; Program Development; Delivery Management; Fast Track, Mentoring and Secondment Programs; Succession and Workforce planning; On the job experience; and Learning Management Systems for progress tracking.
