Humaid Sahoo Al Suwaidi, CEO of E-Vision commented, “Being the first in the region to launch HD TV, we are proud to be the first TV providers once again to launch the latest 3D in the region on IPTV. Through this launch, we can give our customers dual benefits of entertainment by combining the fun factor of 2010 FIFA World Cup action with the beauty of watching it in 3D. This is bound to provide a truly unmatched experience.”

He added that, “the service will be available to E-Vision customers and to all eLife triple play customers without any pre-setting, system configuration or registration. All that the customers have to do is enjoy the 3D technology on their 3D enabled TV sets. Our technicians and engineers have worked on it with utmost dedication to ensure that UAE residents can enjoy the 3D service, which is a natural progress of the HD technology. The Al Jazeera Network is the first in the region to provide 3D through its channel.”

Etisalat provides all its new customers or current subscribers upgrading to the eLife triple play Premier package (16MB) or Max package (30MB), the ability to catch the 2010 FIFA World Cup excitement on Al Jazeera sports channel, in superior 3D quality and for free.
