LG Website Embraces SEO Initiative

LG Electronics (LG), a global leader and technology innovator, has announced the launch of a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) project for its new regional web portal www.lg.com/ae. This new initiative will contribute to the company’s growing brand exposure and digital presence by increasing user and search engine recognition of its new URL, improving the domain’s search engine ranking and boosting the link’s popularity.

“We believe this to be an important move for LG in achieving a strong foothold in the digital arena. In the long run, it will convert our online visitors to customers and have a positive effect on sales. Proven to be one of the most cost-effective forms of marketing available, this project will no doubt help us on our journey to becoming one of the Gulf’s leading digital marketers,” said Mr. H.S Paik, President of LG Electronics Gulf FZE.

Ongoing from 1 May 2010 - 28 February 2011, the project will help boost the ranking of www.lg.com/ae across leading search engines such as Google and Bing. LG’s new domain will be indexed by search engines and awarded high rankings on organic listings for keywords related to the company’s products and services, making it easier for customers to find the brand online.

“Through intelligent link building, we aim to increase our website visitor numbers by facilitating easy and more relevant browsing through sophisticated SEO techniques,” added Mr. H.S Paik. “The online environment is becoming increasingly competitive and we believe performing SEO will give us a decided advantage in attracting visitors and customers.”
