Nawras Launches Popular Stop The Clock Offer For Prepaid Customers

Published Jun 30, 2010

Following overwhelming success amongst postpaid customers, Nawras, a Qtel Group company, is delighted to offer its popular ‘stop the clock’ promotion to all prepaid mobile customers, who can now enjoy talking for three minutes at the regular tariff and then sit back and relax as the rest of the hour’s conversation is completely free.

Customers just follow a few simple steps to get started, by dialling *141# to select ‘tariff options’ followed by ‘bundle services’ and then choosing ‘Stop the Clock’ which provides registration to the service for a full month at only 1 Rial. Nawras Mousbak customers can then call any other Nawras mobile customer using the standard tariff for the first three minutes before talking for free for the next 57 minutes.

This great value offer – another Nawras first - can be enjoyed 24-hours a day up to and including 25 August 2010 making this the ideal way to get closer to family and friends – especially those travelling round the country during the holiday season - or perhaps to benefit from a lengthy debate on the latest news from the World Cup.

“As soon as the conversation runs over three minutes the clock stops ticking and the free talk time automatically kicks in,” explained Aziz Al-Harrasi, marketing manager, prepaid. “Our customers know they can always rely on Nawras for excellent quality and great value and this offer makes it easy and convenient for Nawras Mousbak customers to talk for a full hour at any time while enjoying an exceptionally low price.”

New customers will find Nawras Mousbak World Cup welcome packs at only 2 Rials from any Nawras Store or premium dealer until 31 July, including 2 Rials of free credit. Customers from the other operator can easily join the Nawras family to take advantage of this incredible ‘stop the clock’ promotional offer and great value which is being delivered every single day. Using number portability, customers can keep their existing mobile number and move to Nawras to benefit from a pleasingly different experience.

Nawras is committed to making communication easier, more versatile and always a rewarding experience for its valued customers.
