Etisalat Offers New AED 1 Per Minute Roaming Package For Summers

Etisalat customers can now maximize value and stay connected on voice and video calls while roaming outside UAE throughout this summer until 20 September. Etisalat’s new roaming offer now gives its customers the best roaming rates in the country on the region’s widest roaming network partnership with 579 networks spanning 190 countries globally.
Etisalat launches two different packages for customers traveling abroad for both Etisalat Wasel prepaid as well as postpaid GSM customers. They have the flexibility to avail of one or both packages together to suit their needs and their traveling destinations. As part of the offer, post paid GSM customers can enable and enjoy the roaming service package without deposit.
For travelers to the Arab countries, the package offered at AED 100 comes with 100 minutes worth of voice and video calls and this includes all other taxes and operator charges. This package is also valid for one month from the activation date. In addition, incoming calls that exceed the 100 minutes bundle will be charged to customers at only AED1, applicable for the entire duration of subscription. Customers can subscribe to this package in UAE or from outside by sending ‘r arab100’ to 1010.
The special roaming package for customers traveling to any other country globally, gives them 100 minutes of incoming voice and video calls for a price of AED200 only that includes all taxes and operator charges. The package is valid for one month from the date of activation. In addition, extra incoming calls received over and above the bundle of 100 minutes will be charged to customers at only AED1, applicable during the entire month of subscription. Customers can subscribe to this package in the UAE or from outside by simply sending ‘r row 200’ to 1010.
Customers applying for both packages can renew their subscriptions as many times during the offer period until 20th September, depending on their travel duration and requirements. In addition, travelers to Arab as well as other global destinations during the offer period, can conveniently subscribe to one or both packages together to avail the offer benefits. In this case, each package, Arab as well as for rest of the world, will operate and switch automatically depending on the country the customers travels to, thereby giving them maximum value and savings. Incoming SMS while roaming, as usual, is free for all Wasel prepaid and GSM post-paid customers.

The package also features handy options such as checking the balance of incoming minutes by dialing the command they receive upon subscription and the convenience of receiving an SMS reminding customers of the package expiry date and asking for renewal.
