du Empowers Customers With Choice Of Receiving Information On Latest Tailored Offers And Promotions

In order to keep customers fully informed of du’s latest offers and promotions, du sends SMSs from time to time to its customers.
“Our aim is to keep customers fully informed about our offerings that they can avail the benefits of. Customers now will be able to choose whether they want to receive information from us or not. This innovative facility enables us to enhance our customers’ experiences of our services, commented Farid Faraidooni, Chief Commercial Officer, du. “As a company which promotes flexibility and freedom of choice, we are pleased to comply with the TRA’s policy in offering our valued customers the possibility of opting in or out of receiving information on latest offers and promotions via SMS.”
Customers who wish to receive information on special offers and promotions via SMS, simply need to send a blank SMS to 7000, completely free of charge. The request will be registered within 14 days of customer sending the SMS to 7000, after which customers will receive updated information on offers and promotions, between 8am to 8pm, Saturday to Thursday, and not during the evening or on Fridays.
Customers who do not wish to receive information on latest offers and promotions simply need to send a blank SMS to 5293. The request will be registered within 14 days of customers sending the SMS to 5293 after which no further SMS will be received.
We wish to assure our customers who may choose to opt-out or unsubscribe from receiving information on latest offers and promotions that they will continue to receive useful account-related information, such as bill payment reminders, etc.
