Nawras Gives Customers Greater Control Of Data Roaming With New Smartroamer Package

With the launch of a new data roaming package for its incredibly popular SmartRoamer service, Nawras reinforces its commitment to providing customers with unparalleled roaming benefits. Among the features of bringing Nawras customers in Oman even greater flexibility in mobile communication are lower rates for calling, SMS and data usage when roaming in the GCC countries of Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Nawras customers can subscribe to the new SmartRoamer data roaming bundle and enjoy even greater control over their data roaming bills. Available for a limited time to all prepaid customers, it takes one low payment of just RO 1.100 for data usage of up to 1MB which is valid for a period of seven days.
Not only is the Nawras data roaming bundle the lowest priced in the market, it also allows customers to easily control their purchase of data roaming services. Once the usage limit is reached, the roaming data session is dropped automatically, with customers now able to avoid the common practice of burning through all their prepaid credit with an open data roaming plan. After the bundle is finished, it’s the customer’s choice to either resubscribe to the promotion or use the existing balance on their account, paying the standard pay-as-you-go rate.
Nawras a Qtel Group company enthusiastically introduced the SmartRoamer service to customers in Oman a year ago, giving both postpaid and prepaid customers the potential to enjoy considerable savings when making local calls in specified GCC travel destinations and when calling back home to Oman.
Nawras customers benefited from more than 60% discounts on call tariffs, more than 80% on wireless data services and a reduction of over 40% on SMS. Low rates are still automatically extended to all Nawras customers with no need for any registration or sign up.
