Kaspersky Lab Middle East In Regional Expansion

As part of its EEMEA regional expansion strategy, internet security specialist Kaspersky Lab has appointed Marketing & Events Manager, Technical Support Manager and Channel Manager for its Middle East operations.

Nancy Assaad has been appointed to the post of Marketing Manager to help cement the reputation of the brand and award winning products among the consumers and SMB segments.

The appointment of Emad Al Haffar as Technical Support Manager 'demonstrates Kaspersky Lab's commitment to regional partners as technical support is one of the most important value add services of security solutions vendors,' said Tarek Kuzbari, Head of Kaspersky Lab Middle East.

Leading the inauguration of the company's new channel strategy is Aman Manzoor, Channel Manager, Kaspersky Lab Middle East.

'The appointment of Manzoor as Channel Manager will strengthen our relationship with our regional partners and ensure strategic distribution of our products within the region,'said Kuzbari.

Of different backgrounds and educational degrees including computer engineering, mechanical engineering, and life sciences, all three professionals have gained substantial experience within the GCC with organizations like Nortel Networks, Emirates Computer, CommVault Systems, and Symantec Corporation in Riyadh.

A total of 10 people will be employed in Kaspersky Lab's regional office in Dubai by 2009 including sales specialists and technical experts.
