The Roundtable was held on Sunday March 28th, 2010 at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza Hotel at 8:30 AM till 10:00 AM and was sponsored by DiaMed Egypt.
The Subject of the Roundtable was " The Egyptian Swiss Collaboration for Restructure of Egyptian Blood Services: Achievements, Challenges and Social Contribution". The theme was about blood transfusion services and the role of the Swiss Red Cross and the Swiss Government in the restructure of the services.
Keynote Speaker was Dr. Faten M. Moftah, who is the head of the National Blood Transfusion Service for nearly 12 years. Dr. Faten gave an update on the Project Progress and Importance of Social Support of the Project and Dr. Magdy El Ekyabi talked about the role of DiaMed in the Egyptian Swiss Project for Restructure of Blood Transfusion Services in Egypt.
