launches O+G Activities
Egypt's Oil + Gas Sector has boomed in the past few years as to which Egypt is nowadays housing the second largest oil refineries in Africa and is producing natural gas to the equivalent of 1.9 mio oil barrels per day.
Tempted by this very capital intensive industry Kuehne + Nagel Egypt has established an O+G Division to better serve and meet the needs of this emerging market sector. In close cooperation with the comprehensive O+G desks and divisions of the Kuehne + Nagel Group around the globe 24/7 services, supply of spare parts, rig moves, shipments of explosives and emergency shipments etc. are offered by KN which do require speed and accuracy.
Visibility and monitoring of shipments at all times are also one of the key factors for the O+G customers which is being offered by the KN customer solution driven IT applications.
In addition to the professional physical handling of the O+G shipments, KN has also invested in staff trainings dedicated to the various ISO Standards and Compliance, in particular FCPA, Code of Conduct to fully comply with the specific requirements of this industry.
