Infor Equips RSA Logistics With Warehouse Management Solution

Infor, the leading provider of business software for mid-market companies, announced that RSA Logistics DWC LLC, the first third-party logistics (3PL) company to operate in Dubai Logistics City/Dubai World Central (DWC), has invested in Infor SCM WMS (Warehouse Management Solution) from SPAN, Infor’s leading supply chain partner in the Middle East.
News:
- The solution is being deployed to optimize RSA’s 25,000 square meter warehousing operation at its newly complete facility at Dubai Logistics City, in a bid to ensure the highest customer service levels in its warehouse and stores across the region.
- Infor’s partner, SPAN, worked with RSA to create a customized warehouse management solution that would match its requirements.
- Infor WMS has been localized to support the customs requirements at the DWC. A designated module handles the bill of entry, bill of exit and process documentation, among others, between the free zone and JAFZA
- WMS supports RSA’s multi-modal integrated transport approach at the new facility at Dubai World Central, providing advanced traceability through the supply chain.
- WMS manages all warehousing processes, including receiving, put-away, replenishments, picking, packing, labeling and shipping.
- Once deployed, the WMS solution will optimize RSA’s inventory; provide efficient labor productivity; and a high degree of inventory and shipping accuracy.
