Published Aug 1, 2010

Juniper Networks® (NYSE: JNPR) announced that it has been selected by AT&T as a Domain Supplier for the IP/MPLS/Ethernet/Evolved Packet Core domain.

“AT&T and Juniper share a common commitment to driving innovation and focusing on the customer experience,” said Tim Harden, president, AT&T Supply Chain and Fleet Operation. “AT&T’s selection of Juniper Networks as a Domain Supplier showcases our ongoing commitment to ensure that we continue to meet the quality expectations of our subscribers while preparing for future demands.”

“As a supplier selected for this strategic domain, Juniper is looking forward to working closely with AT&T and our ecosystem partners to deliver the improved economics and user experience that is a priority for AT&T,” said Kevin Johnson, CEO, Juniper Networks. “The open Junos platform provides the operational and management simplicity of a single software architecture to meet evolving subscriber and bandwidth demands with proven reliability and scalability.”

Earlier this year, Juniper announced that it was named one of only six suppliers to receive the 2010 AT&T Supplier Award for its work in helping AT&T deliver outstanding service to its customers during the past year. Juniper was recognized for its contributions across a broad scope of criteria, including: supplier diversity results, creative cost management solutions, teamwork, customer service, product/service performance and sustainability.
