“Assurance Plan” From Du For Blackberry Customers

du unveiled its “Assurance Plans” for individuals and businesses alike to choose from. These plans have been tailor-made to manage the current Blackberry situation with minimal disruption, and no upfront cost.
The “Standard Assurance Plan” offers customers all the benefits that they are currently enjoying in addition to free 1000 local and international SMSs. Customers also have two additional plans to choose from which offer additional benefits.
“We understand that during this time, many people are concerned and anxious about their blackberry services. du has endeavored to cater to the needs of all our Blackberry customers and have developed customized assurance plans to address the concerns of our individual and business Blackberry customers. Our primary focus has been to provide assurances on the concern of both service disruption and device redundancy. Our guiding principal for designing the “Assurance Plan” was based on two factors. The first is minimal disruption to the service after suspension and the second to assure no additional financial impact on customers” commented Osman Sultan, CEO, du.
Options for Individual Customers:
”Assurance Plan” provides a host of attractive alternative for individuals to choose from:
- The standard assurance plan:
offers customer a standard option of a unlimited data bundle at the current Blackberry monthly fee of AED 130 i.e. at no extra charge. Subscribers to this plan will also avail 1000 SMS FREE every month (800 national and 200 international SMS’s).
International Blackberry Internet service customers will get an additional 20MB of international data usage per month for a total monthly fee of AED 260.
In addition, customers opting for a yearly contract can choose from the following two options:
- Option 1: Data assurance plan: Unlimited National data bundle for just AED 55 per month or International data bundle for yearly contact of AED 130 per month.
- Option 2: Smartphone assurance plan: Free Smartphone in addition to the unlimited National bundle for just AED 180 per month or with the International data bundle for just AED 310 per month.
AED 1500 off on select Smart phones.
AED 2500 off on any high end select Smartphone for Elite Silver customers.
AED 3000 off on any high end select Smartphone for Elite Gold customers.
Additionally, all du roaming customers can now enjoy the benefit of the One World One data Rate of AED1/50kb.
The above offer is only applicable to customers who have subscribed to BlackBerry service, on or before August 1st, 2010.
Beginning September 1st, 2010, customers by visiting www.du.ae/assurance can confirm their preferred Assurance Plan option. Customers who do not confirm on any of the options on or before October 10, 2010 will be automatically moved to the standard assurance plan.
Customers currently enjoying our six months BlackBerry® Internet Service offer as of 11th October 2010 will continue to enjoy the monthly fee waiver on the Standard Assurance Plan for the remaining period.
- Options for Business Customers:
Business customers on the Unlimited National Data Service can retain their existing BlackBerry device with three plan options.
With no contract and AED 100/month or with a 12 month contract and AED 40/month, customers can get Unlimited National Data and 1000 SMS. Should a customer choose a plan over AED 140/month will receive a new Smart Phone voucher worth AED 2000.
Business customers on the Unlimited International Data Service can keep their existing BlackBerry device with two plan options. With no contract and AED 200/month customers can get Unlimited National Data, 20MB International Data and 1000 SMS. With a 12 month contract and AED 80/month, customers can get Unlimited National Data, 10MB International Data and 1000 SMS. Should a customer choose a plan over AED 250/month they will receive AED 2000 worth Smart Phone Free and 30MB International Data bundle.
