Nokia, the world leader in mobile communications, in collaboration with UAE telecom service provider du, have announced a great proposition for users who rank messaging services such as chat, social networking and e-mail as must-have features on their mobile device.
New and existing du Elite Plan customers can now purchase a Nokia E5, the latest addition to the popular E-series line, or a Nokia E72, and receive a free 200 MB data package each month for six months. The offer, which is available for a limited time period will provide customers with access to e-mail, chat, internet and all the social networking sites.
Nokia messaging is an easy to set up and simple to use push e-mail service which allows users to mobilise up to ten personal e-mail accounts on one device. It supports all leading consumer e-mail solutions including Gmail, Windows Live, Hotmail and Yahoo! Mail and also supports corporate email services such as Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes. An additional benefit is that users can easily access all their Instant Messaging accounts to chat with friends on popular services such as Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger and GTalk.
“People are leading increasingly mobile lifestyles, and often the most convenient method of communication particularly for our culturally diverse customer base is via email, chat and social networking sites. We are committed to keeping up with our customers’ needs and requirements, and are therefore pleased to offer our Elite subscribers this state-of-the-art smartphone along with a free 200 MB data package for six months to access a variety of messaging services, meaning they can stay connected whenever and wherever they may be,” commented Farid Faraidooni, chief commercial officer, du.
“Nokia Messaging is all about staying in touch with what matters most, whether that is through chatting to friends, being connected to work or updating your facebook status on the go,” says Kareem Moussa, Head of Marketing for Nokia Lower Gulf. “Combined with the Nokia E5, this is the perfect mix of messaging capability and advanced smartphone functionality”
Designed for those that want to be productive in both their professional and personal lives, the Symbian-based Nokia E5 boasts a full QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel camera and A-GPS, together with free lifetime navigation service and access to Ovi Store.
“We are very excited about this consumer offering in partnership with du, and feel confident that it will provide our consumers with a reliable messaging experience with easy access to all their favorite services” Moussa concluded.
