Home Broadband Now Available With Next Day Installation

As part of its ongoing initiative to provide the best possible customer experience, Qtel is launching a new Next Day Installation service for Home Broadband services.

With the new service, customers who subscribe from any Qtel shops, Call Centres or premium dealers before 12 noon will be able to have their new Home Broadband service installed the next day (excluding weekends).

Customers who subscribe in the afternoon will be able to get installation within 48 hours, while customers who book on Thursday before 12 noon will get the service on Sunday. If customers subscribe on Thursday afternoon, Friday or Saturday, they will receive a visit from the installation team on Monday of the next week.

To provide a full guarantee of great service to customers, Qtel is promising to waive the first month’s rental fee for any customer who doesn’t receive installation during the promised period. All customers have to do is be at home during the arranged visit period.

The service is initially being provided to customers in the central part of the West Bay area as a pilot programme, with plans to expand the Next Day experience across Qatar. Customers can call 111 or visit any Qtel Shop to confirm that their home is eligible in this first phase of the programme.

The Next Day installation for Home Broadband is currently only available for existing landline customers who want to upgrade to Home Broadband, with a schedule in place to extend the service for landline and Mozaic TV+ service.

There’s never been a better or easier time to subscribe to Home Broadband services from Qtel, with the promise of speedy installation and a guaranteed credit bonus for new customers. New customers who sign up for a one-year contract are rewarded with higher levels of credit depending on the package they choose, worth up to QR1200, as well as a free WiFi Router. The credit bonus promotion ends on 31 August 2010.

Home Broadband from Qtel provides fantastic value for customers, supported by the most reliable network in Qatar. New customers who want to sign-up for Qtel’s Home Broadband service pay an installation fee, and then a monthly fee depending on their package.

With prices starting at just QR200 a month for the Starter Package, Qtel offers more choice and great value for everyone who wants Qatar’s most reliable Internet service.

As well as the new Next Day installation service, Qtel is also providing an installation night shift from 9:00pm to 12:00am during the Holy Month of Ramadan. Customers who would rather receive the installation team after their evening meal can request this service at no extra charge.

Existing Qtel customers can sign-up for the service by calling 111 and giving their ID details to the installation team. New customers can sign-up at Qtel stores and premium dealers around the country.
